The Don Rubino is part of the Elencos line from the Carrillo family. It is the same blend as the EL 2010 that received a classic rating of 94 in Cigar Aficionado. It is full-bodied but well balanced cigar that uses a limited harvest Brazilian Habano wrapper combined with Nicaraguan fillers and a Dominican binder. The result is a very flavorful, balanced cigar that is full in body a signature blend from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo.
The Godfather of Boutique Cigars, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, is known for creating the legendary brand of La Gloria Cubana. He has been around cigars all his life. Ernesto worked side by side with his father learning everything he could about making a great cigar. He took over for his father is 1980 and tried to create the perfect blend.
MEDIUM FULL-BODIED While smoking this gem you can expect a flavorful combination of caramel and leather with some spice on the finish. The Don Rubino is a robusto in size with a length of 5 1/4" and a 50 ring guage. They come packaged in boxes of 20.
